The Metamorphic Technique

The Metamorphic Technique is a massage technique very soft and subtle done in feet, hands and head in the tour where are located many spinal reflexes point which in turn correspond to different stages of human gestation, from the moment of conception until birth.

Basically this massage helps everyone who receives it to unlock knots of stress that occurred at the stage of gestation and that have led to emotional problems (fear, anxiety, guilt ..) and end up causing physical illness.

Origin of Metamorphic Technique

This technique was discovered by a naturopath and reflexologist called Robert St John, when dealing with foot reflexology a girl of 18 months with Down Syndrome. He could not improve on it until one day, his instinct led him to perform a massage on the reflex area of the spine in the foot and later also in the hands and head, noting that with the passing of the days were producing improvements on the girl, it was showing calmer and more attentive. Over time he even change his own physiognomy of children with Down syndrome.

Robert St.John tried the same technique with autistic children, also checking improvements in his attitude, they became more affectionate and better related to their environment.

When he start to test the technique with adults, he can observe that in all cases some type of change occurs and sometimes some spontaneous regression that brings back memories that allow these people to begin a process of healing and releasing trauma causes and blockages started from the moment of conception, gestation and birth .

In his research he will locating specific points that correspond to these stages and to help him to understand why there are more painful areas, calluses, dry ... and help to raise awareness of the causes of a disease.

Initially, he call this technique Prenatal and later he would give it the name of Metamorphosis Technique.

Principles of Metamorphic Technique

The Metamorphic Technique is based on:

The concept of Holistic Medicine, which recognizes that a person is a unit composed of Body, Mind and Spirit and that we have the ability to cure our own diseases.

The spine reflexology points located in the metamorphic path in feet, hands and head which is activated to perform the massage.

The idea that at the time of conception and gestation period of human beings all our physical, mental and emotional and behavioral structures are established. This training period can be recovered through these areas, reviving this vital force of gestation period.

The practitioner of the Metamorphic Technique

Metamorphic technique is simple to learn and implement. However, it is very important to correctly know the metamorphic path and not deviate from it when the massage is performed . It is also basic the attitude of the practitioner of this technique, which must be total detachment from the symptoms without putting any intention. With the massage we will activate the vital energy of the receptor but the practitioner should not look or think about a particular result. This attitude toward symptoms is an important difference between the Metamorphic Technique and other alternative therapies or conventional medicine.

Practitioner and receiver establish a metamorphic relation and results may vary depending on who performs the massage. For example, a mother who has learned to perform the massage, practiced with his son and do not get the same results as if it is performed by someone outside the family. This may be because it is difficult for the mother not to put some intention when performing the massage, because in their desire to bring healing to his child she can not detach enough in this process. In these cases it is good that someone else in the family, or a fully nonfamily person, do the child massage.

And then we can understand also that making a metamorphic self-massage can get results but not the same as if we received the massage from someone else, as it is very difficult to say there is no true intention when we perform the massage ourselves.

Jesus washed the feet of his disciples

The following belongs to the Gospel of John chapter 13.

"Before the feast of Passover , Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart from this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world , he loved them to the end. And when they have been dinning, as the devil had already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him, Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and went to God, rose from dinner, and laid aside his garments, and took a towel, and girded himself. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet, drying them with the towel wherewith he was girded. Then came to Simon Peter . . , and Peter said, Lord, do you wash my feet? Jesus answered and said to him: . . what I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after. Peter said You never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I don't wash you, you don't have with me. Simon Peter said, Lord, not only my feetbut also my hands and head. Jesus said : Who is bathed only needs to wash his feet, but is completely clean . . and you are clean, but not all.

So after he had washed their feet, taken his garments, and sat down again, and said unto them, Do you know what I have done? You call me Master and Lord: and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also dought to wash the feet between you. For the example I have given, that as I have done, you also should do. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than that he sent him. If you know these things, blessed you are if you do it. I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, the one that eat bread with me has lifted up his heel against me. From now I tell you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe that I am. Verily, verily, I say unto you, the one that receive whomsoever I send receives me, and the one whoreceives me receives who sent me. "
